The Look and Feel of the Voopoo Argus A Vape Kit

The word unique is often dished out in the review to amaze an audience. But with the Voopoo Argus A, originality is key and true. This device is the first of its kind to offer a slick dual display screen. Offering an animation system, this adds an extra dimension to vaping for those who feel bored of the same old devices. 

Comfortable to hold in the hand and vape, with a compact size, the Argus A is a fresh new look for a pod kit and fits nicely into the Argus series of user-friendly and yet stylish vape kits bracket. 

There is a sliding mechanism to lock and unlock the device, which adds another element of convenience, while there is also adjustable airflow and wattage too. 

If you like the look of a dual-aspect display but do not want the animation, this can also be turned off and on too for additional control and customisation. Available in various colourway schemes, including Racing Green, Azure Blue, Crystal Pink, Phantom Purple, Pearl White and Phantom Black, there is a device for all preferences! 

How is the Battery Life?

Battery capacity and turnaround time for charging the Voopoo Argus A is a great feature of this pod kit too. With a 1100mAh battery capacity, this is more than enough for a day of vaping with a mouth-to-lung or restrictive direct lung vape. 

However, if you are a frequent ‘chain vaper’, the chances are you might run out before the end of the day. A nice touch from Voopoo is being able to turn the dual display on and off, which saves on battery life. 

And even more useful is the 2A-5V fast charging capability. In just 40 minutes, you have a fully charged device at 100% ready to go when nicotine is needed. 

Using the Voopoo Argus A – Easy or Difficult?

We believe strongly that setting up and using any pod device should be very straightforward to not overcomplicate matters for vapers. Customisation is not over the top with the Voopoo Argus A, meaning it is very simple to pick up and vape. What we love about the device is how easy it is to operate (see instructions below for full details) and the lightweight nature of the device. 

The Argus A provides just enough power with 30W max. Ideally, Voopoo could have made it slightly higher to give greater flexibility to vapers, but it still does a decent job nonetheless for MTL vaping and RDL at a push. 

Because of the three power modes, you can alternate between max power or saving battery life with a couple of clicks, which is ideal for switching styles when the mood strikes. 

Additionally, the lanyard design means you can vape whenever needed with it transported around your neck so no need to reach in your pocket or bag to vape. 

One little setback is the ‘topfill’ feature. Voopoo state it is top fill but honestly it is located more on the side of the new topfill pods. So that is something to consider. However, when using the device, we found no issues with leaking, so it depends how you like to add vape juice.
